About Waimanalo Beach Cottages Policies


Waimanalo Beach Cottages provides a contactless checkin.
Your cottage will be unlocked and keys on the table. Checkin time is 3:00 PM or later. If you are checking in after dark please let us know and we will leave the lights on.

We now offer Worry Free Bookings. If you cancel your reservaton 14 days before your arrival or if you forgot, no worries, you still have 30 days after your reservation to recieve a full refund.

Without Worry-Free Booking, you may cancel your reservation 90 days before your check-in date for a full refund. After 120 days due to COVID or a fight canceallation you can receive a credit voucher to reserve at another time, which is valid for one year and non-transferable. A Doctors note is required or proof of a flight cancellation. All new rates and fees will apply. We encourage Worry-Free Booking. For June, July and Auguest we have a no refund policy however if you cancel within 120 dyas you can recieve a credit voucher to book at another time. The above rule will still aply.

For reservations group reservations of more then 12 guests we require a 75% deposits. For less then 12 guests payment is due at the time of your reservtion. We also require a $500 refundable depoist at the time of checkout.

Effective April of 2023 for all compound reservatins (all cottages) the cancellation policy is 120 before your reservation date for a full refund. After 120 days reservation are nonrefundable. We recommend Worry Free Insurance.

On property parking is $25 per day, however there is free street parking. For all third party reservations cash only for property parking.

We adhere to the CDC COVID rules.

Our staff is COVID free and we provide a safe clean sanitize environment for all our guests.

Kindly remember ONLY registered guests are allowed on property at all times.

If you have a group reservation please email us all guests names and email address and phone number 72 hours before your arrival.

We are a smoke-free environment. If you are smoking in our cottages or on the property, there will be an additional cleaning fee of $200 per unit and a ground fee of $100 for cigarette butts left behind.

We are a drug free envoiorment. The Use of drugs will result in immediate cancellation of your stay with no refund.

Check in is no earlier than 3:00 PM and we do not store luggage.

Check out is at 10:00 AM.

We provide paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels to get your started as well as beach towels, and bath towels. Each cottage has a full size kitchen accept cottage 9 has a kitchenette. Please visit each cottage for more details on our main site.

There is a grocery store around the corner to purchase more paper products. We do not replace towels but you may use the coin operated washer and dryer at your leisure.

On property we have beach chairs and a few beach umbrellas for all guests to use.

We do not provide, surf boards, boogie boards. or snorkel gear. Let us know if you need help in finding a rental company to rent any of the above items.

There is a coin operated washer and dryer located on property for you to use.

There is a convent store walking distance from the cottages and Costco is a 15 minute drive. For your convenience Instacart delivers to the cottages.

The bus line is one block from the cottages. Other transportation is Uber and Lyft.

On property, parking is $25 per day.
We have 5 available reserved stalls.
Street Parking is available for free at all times.
Please do not park in the stalls with cones.
We are not responsible for the following:
Parking Tickets
Towed Vehicles
Damaged or Vandalized Vehicles
Theft of any kind while on or off the property

We do not allow parties or unregistered guest on property.
If you are having an event all 9 cottages must be rented at the same time. Please refer to our event policy

We have a 7 night, however if there is a shorter stay available we can offer less then 7 nights. Please call us to inquiry.

Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of your total stay.

Current State TAT Tax: 14.962%

Cleaning Fee $200 ( We hold the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of $200 if your unit is damaged and left with dirty dishes, soiled sheets, bags of garbage left behind or food or alcohol or smoke in our cottages. Please respect our property/home.

There are no Kegs on the property what so ever.


Occupancy is limited to two guests for the one-bedroom cottages and four guests for the two-bedroom cottages.
There is an additional guest fee of $45.00 per night for over the age of two for units 3, 5, 8,10, and 11 for the nights rented at the time of the first guest check-in. We have a minimum 5-night stay for all registered guests. We will provide extra bedding and towels for added guests.
We hold the right to charge your credit card for each other guests.
We hold the right to charge your card for any damages to our property or cigarette smoking and butts found on our grounds.
Reserve all the cottages and have your next event on property. All events must have prior approval, and our coordinator must be present.

*If you are not reserving all cottages, we do not allow parties of any kind or non-registered or overnight guests on property.

We reserve the right to cancel any reservation.

At the time of booking, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Applies to: all reservations.

Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Children age 3 and under stay free. Pets are welcome. Please ask about our pet policy.
